Ms. Amy visited our classroom today to cook with us. We worked on receptive and expressive language skills while following directions and making requests for items we needed to make a sandwich. The children worked with a partner to make a sandwich and then shared it.

Today we enjoyed retelling the story with the puppets we had made in class this week. Everyone was able to make a bridge (with help) using play-doh and craft sticks. Here are a few pictures of us learning..
This week your child will be bringing home a bag with materials to retell the story we learned this week. Inside the bag you will find directions, story, story board, and pom pom balls. The big pom pom will be used to represent Daddy Bear, the middle sized pom pom will represent Mother Bear, the little pom pom ball will represent Baby Bear, and the yellow pom pom ball will represent Goldilocks. We did practice this in class on Thursday and Friday. My hope is that your child will be able to enjoy story time at home as they retell the story with you.
